Rancho Gavilán is a private barn that has a priority to provide a safe, tranquil setting for both rider and horse.
Rancho Gavilán has an on-site trainer and two trainers that come to give lessons and clinics. Juliet Clarke is a USDF Gold Medalist in addition to having a certification from the British Horse Society with a B rating. She runs a full English lesson and training program. As a child she interacted with the Pony Club and is fully committed to the education of the younger generation. Juliet Clarke was an active Pony Clubber as a youth, hunting and eventing until she attained her B rating. Rancho Gavilán hosts the Golden Hills Pony Club.
In addition to Juliet Clarke, Rancho Gavilán has Tracey Lert, a USDF Gold Medalist, FEI level instructor, and an S judge who gives clinics monthly/bimonthly and Lisa Dendulk, who is also a USDF Gold Medalist and FEI level instructor and competitor who comes weekly/biweekly.
Rancho Gavilán has hosted clinics from other instructors as well as occasional single rated dressage shows.
